Job Summary
Our client in Gilbert, AZ, a leader in plant-based fiber solutions, seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead global manufacturing in Mexico and Poland, driving operational excellence, quality, and continuous improvement while ensuring strategic alignment with cross‑functional teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field and minimum 10 years of experience in global manufacturing operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Required Certifications / Methodologies:
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TQM, Quality Control, EHS

Salary: $250,000 - $310,000 per year

- Executive Leadership & Strategy: Lead global manufacturing operations including setting strategy, developing operating plans and budgets, and driving technology adoption. Establish and govern performance metrics to ensure accountability and achieve operational and financial objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee manufacturing activities, collaborating with plant leaders to ensure production targets are met within budget. Drive the implementation of key manufacturing metrics (safety, quality, production attainment). Maintain facilities and equipment, managing vendor relationships effectively.
- Quality and Compliance (EHS): Lead the Total Quality Management System (TQMS), ensuring robust policies for product quality, supplier quality, and regulatory compliance. Lead all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) functions, developing policies and systems to ensure safe and environmentally responsible operations and compliance with all standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives to reduce costs, increase productivity, enhance reliability, and improve product quality. Coach operations leaders to execute plans for production optimization and supply chain cost minimization.
- Talent Management: Recruit, coach, manage, and mentor a high‑performing manufacturing team. Promote a culture of high performance and accountability, and analyze staffing needs to ensure the team is equipped to meet all operational goals.
- Experience level:
Director or above - Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations
