Base pay range$30.00/hr - $34.00/hr
AboutThe Role
Genuine Machine Products is hiring a versatile inspector who thrives on variety and exactness. You’ll rotate through inspection stations to keep quality airtight from dock to shipment.
Your Impact- Guard aerospace quality at every gate: receiving, in‑process, First Article (FAI), and final inspection.
- Produce complete, accurate AS9102 FAI packages aligned to customer requirements.
- Read drawings and specifications, apply GD&T, and validate features with precision tools.
- Flag and document nonconformances; follow established protocols for disposition and reporting.
- Partner with production, engineering, and customers to address discrepancies and drive improvement.
- Maintain thorough records and quality documentation.
- Calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Knowledge of AS9102, AS9100/ISO 9001, and GD&T.
- Tools and systems exposure that’s a plus: CMM, Net Inspect, and Discuss.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T literacy.
- Clear communication, meticulous documentation, and attention to detail.
- Independent work style with excellent time management; comfortable floating between stations.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
