As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their stay. Your warmth and helpfulness will ensure a positive experience for our guests, from greeting families on vacation to assisting weary travelers with their requests.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service and a welcoming first impression.
- Checking guests in and out efficiently both in person and over the phone.
- Handling cash and credit transactions accurately and confidently.
Additional duties:
- Managing guest mail and messages, and promoting rewards programs and promotions.
- Knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, rates, and amenities to assist guests effectively.
- Answering the switchboard professionally, handling reservations and special requests.
- Maintaining lobby and desk area cleanliness and security procedures.
- Assisting with emergency procedures and safety standards.
- Performing light cleaning and laundry duties as needed.
- Opening and closing shifts, balancing cash and credit transactions.
- Communicating effectively with staff and management, reporting issues promptly.
- Adhering to uniform and appearance standards and practicing safety at all times.
- Ability to lift luggage up to 40 lbs and perform other duties as assigned.
