Patient Service Representative Responsibilities

  • Schedule and register patient appointments and/or provide information for other requests (e.g., addresses/directions, phone numbers, hours of operations, other departments, such as billing, etc.).
  • Process all phone, fax, email, and other communication channel requests with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Update patients of the status of their referral or authorizations.
  • Communicate to patients and internal and external ordering physicians' offices, complex exam preparations instructions including, but not limited to, pre‑procedure laboratory test requirements and other necessary preparations instructions.
Qualifications
  • Must have 1+ year experience in a healthcare call center.
  • Patient scheduling and insurance verification experience.
  • Experience with handling KPIs.
  • Medical Terminology knowledge.
  • Must have reliable transportation to pick up equipment onsite.
  • Medical Assistant experience is a plus but not required.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, AZ. The position is fully remote and requires being located within 50 miles of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
