What We Are Looking For
Next Care Urgent Care seeks an energetic and enthusiastic Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and works well in a team. Customer‑friendly and passionate employees are key to our success.
Responsibilities- Assist provider with exams (including vitals), procedures and other direct patient care tasks under direct supervision within scope of practice.
- Administer medications per policy and provider direction while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform blood draws and urine collection for testing.
- Perform splinting, casting, sports physicals, ear lavage, wound care and oxygen administration.
- Notify provider and clinic manager of unusual patient occurrences or safety concerns.
- Follow laboratory and clinical accreditation guidelines.
- Be proficient in EMR/EHR.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
When working in front office, support duties include keeping patients and families informed of wait times, monitoring patient flow, processing discharge, preparing charges, collecting payment, obtaining signatures and issuing receipts.

Essential Education, Experience and SkillsArizona:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Education: Completed an accredited Medical Assistant training program, or
- Completed a non‑accredited program AND a National Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA).
