Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Work Environment: Day Training Program and community-based settings

Travel Required: Yes – travel from the day training program to members’ homes

Salary / Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour

The Direct Support Professional provides hands‑on assistance and supervision to individuals with special needs. This role supports members with daily living activities, skill‑building, and community engagement while promoting independence, dignity, and safety.

• Assist members with activities of daily living, including toileting and hygiene
• Prepare simple meals and assist with cooking as needed
• Perform light cleaning and maintain a safe environment
• Facilitate activities such as crafts, games, and group participation
• Accompany members on outings and community activities
• Provide encouragement and positive support throughout the day
• Follow care plans and safety guidelines consistently

• Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
• CPR Certification (training assistance available)
• First Aid Certification (training assistance available)
• Article 9 Certification (training assistance available)
