Behavior Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Gilbert

Join Axis for Autism to apply for the Behavior Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role in Gilbert. We are seeking part‑time and full‑time positions, Monday–Friday, with a competitive hourly rate of $20.00–$23.00. Axis is expanding ABA therapy services and is committed to delivering high‑quality care for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

• Provide direct client care in one‑on‑one and group settings in clinic and home.
• Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition protocols under BCBA supervision.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable behaviors.
• Enter session notes into medical records promptly and in accordance with procedures.
• Communicate with caregivers and school personnel regarding client progress.
• Assist supervising clinician with preparation of client materials, assessments, and skills acquisition.
• Engage with supervisor and management to provide feedback on sessions and request support.
• Use technology and data‑collection applications comfortably.
• Adhere to HIPAA policies.
• Maintain flexibility to respond to changing client needs.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• At least one year of related professional experience with individuals with ASD and/or other developmental disabilities.
• Prior experience as a direct support professional is a plus.
• Passion for helping individuals with developmental disabilities reach their potential.
• Positive, energetic attitude with strong work ethic.
• Knowledge or experience in early intervention (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills for interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to serve culturally and linguistically diverse families.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to bend, lift (up to 30 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and run as required.
• RBT certification preferred but not required; we provide paid training and certification support.
• Part‑time or full‑time availability Monday through Friday.
• Bilingual language skills preferred.

• Hourly pay $20.00‑$23.00; differential pay for in‑home and evening sessions.
