Join Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health, as an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide superior patient care and help patients recover essential daily living and occupational skills across a range of conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic injury.

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement occupational therapy services to help patients maintain essential daily living and occupational skills.
• Educate patients and caregivers and monitor patient progress.
• Adjust therapy plans as necessary and ensure safety and effectiveness of services.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in compliance with licensing laws and professional standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• State licensure for occupational therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred experience in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF).
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
