Overview
Home Matters Caregiving East Valley is seeking compassionate, reliable On-Call Caregivers to provide exceptional in‑home care for seniors in our community. This position is ideal for caregivers with a flexible schedule who can respond to client care needs with just a few hours’ notice.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to last‑minute or same‑day assignments.
- Travel to clients’ homes in the East Valley within a few hours of being contacted.
- Provide quality care, including assistance with daily activities, personal hygiene, companionship, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
- Communicate any changes in clients’ health or needs to our care team.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well‑being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients with mobility needs.
- Previous experience in home health care or caregiving.
- Experience in cooking and meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs is beneficial.
- A compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills is essential for building trust with clients.
Base pay: $16.00/hr – $18.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience). On‑call caregivers for seniors in Chandler, Gilbert, Queencreek, Arizona.
Schedule:
12‑hour, 4‑hour, day, evening, morning, night, and overnight shifts. Expected hours: 10–40 per week.
Salary range for on‑call assignments: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
