School Psychologist in Gig Harbor, WA

A full-time School Psychologist position is available at a high school setting in Gig Harbor, WA, starting immediately through June 16, 2026. This onsite role offers a standard 7.5-hour workday over five days each week, designed to support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students.

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
• Providing consultation and collaboration with school staff and families to develop effective intervention plans
• Supporting students mental health and learning needs through evidence-based strategies
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school district policies

• Valid Washington State School Psychologist license or certification, or willingness to obtain one
• Experience working with school-aged children and understanding of educational systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with students, educators, and families
• Ability to manage a caseload aligned with a ratio of 1.0 FTE to 800 students
