Machine Operator

Job Description

Primary duties include operating a chop gun and/or winding machine, maintaining a clean work area, completing tasks per manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision, utilizing safe work habits, wearing appropriate PPE, and complying with NOV Company policies, HSE and Quality guidelines.

• Operates chop gun and/or winding machine
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
• Utilizes safe work habits
• Wears appropriate PPE
• Complies with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Complies with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Complies with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Verifiable work history

• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
• Standing up to 12 hours daily
• Walking up to 12 hours daily
• Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) 6 to 8 hours daily
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily

• Ability to adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties as required
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
