Mold Technician

The Mold Technician is responsible for support of TSS Giddings manufacturing. This is an entry-level position, but we are looking for a person that is self-motivated, highly organized, detailed oriented and able to multitask and prioritize. Manufacturing experience is a Plus!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow daily production schedules and priority rankings
• Complete data entry, documentation and reports as required
• Ability to read a ruler/tape measure and convert measurements as needed
• Ability to learn and retain information regarding equipment, materials and other data
• Ability to focus while engaged in repetitive tasks
• Observe and follow all safety, environmental and quality management procedures.
• Cross trains in other areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

This position requires a High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in English; both written and verbal
• Must have a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Highly organized and detailed orientated

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This position is located in a manufacturing facility which requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, squatting, twisting, bending, and reaching throughout an entire shift. Must be able to move and handle varying sized products and perform heavy lifting.

• Safety Glasses to be worn at all times when on the production floor
• Safety Shoes to be worn at all times when on the production floor
• Must wear appropriate PPE for all work activities performed; varies based work
