Qualifications
B.Ed.
A post graduate in  CHEMISTRY  is a must.
Evidence of recent and relevant continuing professional development

Professional Experience
Minimum of 5 years' teaching experience with learners in Senior and Secondary Years.
Successful experience of teaching CHEMISTRY.

Experience of virtual teaching and knowledge of blended learning.

Experience of being a class teacher.

Job Description
Accountable for students' progress by being aware of their capabilities and planning the teaching to build on these.
Demonstrate good subject knowledge of the relevant subject(s) and curriculum areas.
Foster and maintain students' interest in the subject, and address doubts.
Encourage students to take a responsible attitude to their own work and study.
Promote high standards of literacy, articulacy, and the correct use of standard English.
Promote a love of learning and encourage children's intellectual curiosity.
Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
Set homework and plan other out-of-class activities to consolidate and extend the knowledge and understanding students have acquired.
Make use of formative and summative assessments to secure students' progress.
Give students regular feedback, both orally and through accurate marking, and encourage students to respond to the feedback.
Work with parents in the best interests of enabling students to fulfil their potential.
Promote good and courteous behaviour both in classrooms and around the School in accordance with the School's Code of Conduct.
Uphold public trust in the profession and maintain high standards of ethics and behaviour, within and outside School.
Carry out professional duties as may be required by the Director, Head Teacher or the Wing Head.
