Tile Carrier - 1St Shift

Position: TILE CARRIER - 1ST SHIFT

This is 1st shift position working Monday to Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm. The hourly rate of pay is $20.48.

The Tile Carrier operates and ensures a mounting line is supplied with tile.

Major Functions and Scope:

* Feeds finished tile onto conveyers to fill mounting boards.

* Keeps tile mounters stocked with pattern or replacement tile.

* Empties scrap boxes as necessary.

* Removes empty skids and boxes from line.

* De-sands tile as needed.

* Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.

* Follows standard operating and safety procedures and wears required personal protective equipment.

* Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

* Performs other related duties as required.

Education & Knowledge:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

* 0
-1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.

* Ability to understand and speak basic English.

* Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.

* Ability to differentiate between colors
