** This is a 1st shift position working Monday to Thursday from 4:00 am to 2:30 pm. The hourly rate of pay is $22.56.*
* The Press Operator monitors and cleans press equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
Major Functions and Scope:
+ Monitors efficient operation of press equipment within control plans.
+ Identifies minor mechanical problems and performs adjustments to equipment as needed.
+ Performs routine cleaning of equipment as needed for color changes.
+ Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
+ Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
+ Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
+ Performs other related duties as required.
Education and Knowledge:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
+ 0
-1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.
Competencies:
+ Good oral and written communications skills.
+ Good record keeping skills.
+ Good listening skills.
+ Accurate measurement capability.
+ Ability to understand and speak basic English.
+ Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
