Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0682) role rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard and creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Greet guests, assist with needs, and communicate current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Explain and promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain how to use Target App features (Wallet, Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering) and help guests enroll when appropriate.
• Handle returns by following policy prompts and partnering with Leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area; stock supplies during store hours as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and participate in ongoing training.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up orders, and related duties, including compliance with applicable laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and related cash office support as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally, with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift and work in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and operate handheld scanners and technology as directed.
