GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK
Under supervision, supports the organization's server infrastructure, network health, and software ecosystems. Analyzes, designs, and troubleshoots the organization’s information technology systems and processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- A strong desire to be mentored by senior staff and a proactive approach to mastering new technologies.
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, equipment, peripherals, and application packages.
- Knowledge of microcomputer and network troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and online monitoring software.
- Ability to methodically diagnose technical issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems and recommend solutions.
- Ability to comprehend and make inferences from written material.
- Ability to work independently within established policies and procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and logs.
- Ability to watch and read from a computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Ability to effectively interact with users by listening attentively to user needs and problems.
- Ability to communicate with both inexperienced users and computer-savvy technical personnel that requires ability to reduce technical information to simple language.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work in a tiered team environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 0-2 years experience in IT support or junior technical role; or any combination of education, training, and experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform essential job functions.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTA valid driver's license.
CERTIFICATIONS: Comp TIA Network+, Security +, or Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate (preferred or willing to obtain).
Normally works in well-lighted and comfortable offices. Evening and weekend work may be necessary to resolve specific system problems.
