Full‑Time (5:30 pm - 6:00 am) in Germantown, MD. Protection Service Department. This position reports first to a Security Supervisor or Security Manager.

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital and assigned post during watch.
• Remain vigilant of suspicious activities and persons, taking appropriate actions to ensure safety and security.
• Write reports in a neat and legible manner.
• Available to work all three shifts when needed.
• Perform daily patrols and essential job functions without bias or discrimination.
• Submit to fingerprinting, FBI and state criminal history checks or background investigations.

What you will need:

• At least a high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience as a security officer (4 years).
• Valid driver's license.

• One or more years of security experience.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.

USD $18.78 - $26.29 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. Pay may vary within the stated range based on location.
