Protection Officer reports first to a Security or Security Manager within the Protection Service Department.

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital and assigned post during the shift.
• Be vigilant of suspicious activities and take appropriate actions to ensure safety and security.
• Write clear and legible reports.
• Available to work all three shifts when needed.
• Perform essential job functions including daily patrols without bias or discrimination.
• Submit to fingerprinting, FBI, State criminal history checks, and background investigations.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience as a security officer (minimum 4 years).
• Valid driver’s license.

• At least one year of security experience.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.

$18.78 - $26.29 hourly, based on experience, skills, and education.
