Role:
Guest Advocate (T1046) on an On-Demand basis. You can work as much or as little as you like; schedules vary based on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule and the ability to pick up shifts via the myTime mobile scheduling app.
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their daily needs.
- Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and provide informed solutions.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services in the total store to resolve guest issues and enhance their experience.
- Assist guests with returns, follow register prompts, and collaborate with leaders to resolve issues per Target policies.
- Deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
- Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events; explain Target Loyalty benefits and assist with enrollment where needed.
- Demonstrate how to use Wallet and other Target App features; promote and guide guests to fulfillment services and digital capabilities.
- Support cash handling and cash office processes as needed; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards when identified.
- Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders, and related returns; adhere to federal, state, and local guidelines where applicable.
- Perform any other duties based on business needs.
- You enjoy interacting with guests and helping teammates; you thrive in a fast-moving, active environment where teamwork and flexibility are key.
- You are open to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
- Effective communication and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to stay focused and multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
- Welcoming demeanor toward guests and team members; attention to detail.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience handling cash and basic store operations; comfort with lifting up to 44 pounds occasionally.
- On-Demand Team Members may be required to attend an orientation and participate in a short-term training plan; after onboarding, use the myTime app to pick shifts.
- All other duties based on business needs.
