At Germantown Hills Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves on not only being an AAHA accredited veterinary practice and also having been awarded Feline‑Friendly Silver Status by the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
We are a fully equipped practice offering many services, including, but not limited to wellness care, surgery, in‑house laboratory, dental care, and Cardiopet ECG. Scheduling is flexible with weekend rotations and an after‑hours ER clinic.
Position PurposeCome extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st‑4th year veterinary students with hands‑on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
- Must be able to provide student PLIT
