Compensation: $85k to $100k DOE plus performance bonus
Our client is a highly respected, independent, relationship-driven financial planning firm with over 40 years of success and over $400 million in assets under management (AUM) with a strong growth trajectory. The firm is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor with long-term career aspirations in the industry who is passionate about holistic planning, client service excellence, and contributing meaningfully to their own and the firm’s continued success. Responsibilities- Meet with clients both alongside Lead Advisor and independently to review financial plans and investment strategies
- Support Lead Financial Advisor and her existing clients with analysis, client service, and technical assistance
- Attend client meetings and capture detailed notes for CRM entry
- Analyze client data and prepare reports and presentations
- Enter client data into financial planning software and prepare draft plans
- Analyze asset allocation and generate rebalancing trades
- Conduct research on investment products, investment managers, carriers, services, and associated pricing to support informed decision-making
- Review and analyze insurance quotes
- Assist with performance reporting
- Generate and retrieve reports from portfolio management systems
- Manage communications and workflows with broker-dealers and custodians
- Coach and mentor junior staff as needed
- Participate in client prospect outreach and business development initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the wealth management/financial advisory industry, with at least 3 years of holistic financial planning experience
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 with a clean SEC and FINRA record
- CFP® designation preferred, currently in progress, or strong interest in pursuing certification
- Life and Health license, or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe after hire
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to quickly master financial planning software, analytical tools, and custodian platforms. Previous experience with the Kestra platform, Redtail CRM, eMoney, and Holistiplan is a plus.
