We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a 26-day locum tenens assignment at a state-of-the-art facility in Maryland, beginning Jan 19, 2026. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8 am to 5 pm, and requires comfort performing root canals and working independently as the sole dentist. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience and be adept at managing patients of all ages in both general and restorative dentistry.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive general and restorative dental care to patients of all ages
Perform root canals and other essential dental procedures independently
Deliver care in a fully equipped, modern dental facility; request additional tools as needed
Manage patient flow as the sole on-site dentist
Adapt to a flexible schedule tailored to provider preference
Treat patients with United Concordia insurance, with familiarity preferred

Additional Information
Minimum 2 years of dental experience required
Must be licensed to practice dentistry in Maryland
Prior experience in a military or similar clinical setting is beneficial
Ability to work independently and handle a broad range of dental cases
No board certification required for this assignment
