Position: Project Administrator I

Financial Services, Insurance, Telcom, and Travel & Leisure.

We are seeking a Project Administrator I to join our Project Management team. Project Administrator I role provides essential administrative support to projects, managing documentation, scheduling, communication, and resource tracking to ensure efficient project execution across various initiatives.

An ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in JIRA with excellent organizational and communication skills, documentation skills and strong attention to detail. They must also be able to effectively balance different priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and outlining project scopes, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with Agile methodology and project deadlines.
  • Coordinate project meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, capturing minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and track progress using tools like Jira, generating regular status and progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Monitor timelines and identify potential risks, blockers, and dependencies, escalating them to senior project managers as needed.
  • Facilitate clear, professional communication between internal teams and client teams through concise updates and correspondence.
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to process enhancement initiatives and lessons-learned activities.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite proficiently for document management, presentations, and spreadsheets.
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ IT / Project Management or closely related field.
  • 0-2 years of administrative or project support experience; entry-level candidates with strong certifications like CompTIA Project+, CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), and PRINCE2 Foundation will be prioritized.
  • Experience in JIRA is required (some examples include Roadmaps, Sprint Planning, OKR Tools, Jira Project Discovery)
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Trello) and document systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence)

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 a year

The base pay range provided serves as a general guideline. The final annual salary offered to the selected candidate will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, the scope and responsibilities of the role
