Shift: _
** _Monday - Friday 6:30a-5:00p ($17 per hour)_

** _2nd

Shift: _
** _Monday - Friday 5:30p-4:00am ($17 per hour + $1 shift differential)_

** _3rd

Shift: _
** _Friday - Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm ($17 per hour + $1 shift differential)_

** _4th

Shift: _
** _Friday - Sunday 6:30p-4:30a ($17 + $2.50 shift differential)_

** Essential Job functions (Tasks, duties and responsibilities most important for the Job)*
* + General Distribution Center work (picking, packing, material handling, induction, etc.)

+ Must be able to maintain minimum performance standards while performing required job functions.

+ Must have the ability to perform the job with the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

+ Must have the flexibility, if instructed, to work in any General Warehouse function (anywhere in the building, any channel, at any time during the shift).

+ The ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, voice picking technology, pick to light and other warehouse management systems.

+ The ability to use basic computer functions as needed.

+ The ability to be certified on lift equipment should this be required.

+ Must have the ability to work safely and abide by all of Carter's Safety rules and procedures.

** secondary functions (IF APPLICABLE - ANY DUTIES NOT CONSIDERED ESSENTIAL)*
* + Other tasks as assigned.

** KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS-MINIMUM COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED FOR JOB*
* + Basic working knowledge of computers, RF Scanners and Warehouse Management systems.

+ Proven team member with skills to multi-task.

+ Proficient reading skills.

+ Must have the ability to abide by all of Carter's policies and procedures, specifically the attendance policy.

** PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS*
* + High school diploma or a GED preferred, not required.

+ Six months automated distribution center experience preferred.

** PHYSICAL and Work DEMANDS*
* + Must be able to repetitively lift cases weighing up to fifty pounds.

+ Must be able to stand and work for long periods including daily overtime, holidays and overtime as required.  Must be able to work consecutive days during peak season.

+ Must be able to work in varying temperatures.

+ Holiday schedule to be decided by Management.

+ Comply with blackout periods as determined by Management.
