About the position:

TJFACT is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator (AKA Parcel Order Picker) to support our Warehouse & Distribution Department in Pendergrass, GA
.

The Parcel Order Picker is responsible for picking inventory to fill customer orders in a warehouse environment. The order pickers must pick inventory from WMS‑driven location, attach appropriate labels and transport shipment to a designated bulk or UPS staging location. The Parcel Order Picker picks orders generally designated for the parcel shipment method but on occasions the picker will be assigned to pick large orders (bulk order picker functions).

Most of the orders will be picked from upper levels and bulk areas.

• Picks orders directed by WMS instructions from storage locations.
• Operates all applicable material handling equipment (MHE) in a safe and effective manner.
• Performs routine maintenance and safety checks on MHE.
• Accurately counts and verifies items picked before proceeding to the staging area.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Corrects errors as they occur.
• Performs other warehouse duties as required.
• Coordinates with replenisher if any items need replenished while picking.
• Report inventory discrepancies to inventory control for investigation.

• Forklift operation certification (will certify onsite).
• Operate order selectors, on occasion reach trucks.
• Use an onboard computer and follow computer generated instructions.
• Lift at least 80 lbs.
• Work at heights above 25 feet.
• Work flexible hours which includes extended shifts and weekends.
• Perform all other warehouse duties/functions as required.
• Follow SOP to ensure job effectiveness.
