3rd Shift Material Handler

Job Summary

Warehouse Material Handlers are responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving and shipping customer orders to ensure they are processed in a timely and secure manner.

This position requires minimal forklift operation. They receive extensive training and are expected to be fast-paced, detail-oriented, hardworking, with a good attitude and adaptability.

• Monday-Thursday from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM
• Starting wage: $21.00/hr (includes a $1.00/hr shift differential) with potential raises of up to $0.88 every 6 months

• Check-in and put away incoming warehouse inventory
• Packing orders to ensure customers receive them intact and within the shortest time frame while maintaining quality
• Downsize packaging to minimize shipping costs without compromising product quality or insurance
• Bill and ship completed orders using warehouse software
• Palletize and load finished shipments onto trailers with provided equipment
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely to ensure a safe work environment
• Communicate with the warehouse supervisor regarding any issues or concerns
• Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor

• Work performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours per day
• Requires effective communication skills through speech, vision, and hearing
• Requires regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights up to 75 lbs

• 1+ year of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required

This role does not require a degree. Relevant skills, experience, and alignment with core values are prioritized.

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and order pickers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adapt quickly as business needs change; address challenging situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
• Customer service-oriented attitude with a desire to exceed expectations

Employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, temperature and humidity changes, dust, fumes, and gases. Noise level is usually moderate, and employee passage is normal.
