Job Title: VP, Commercial Credit Underwriter

Overview:

JCW is partnering with a growing regional bank seeking a VP, Commercial Credit Underwriter to support its expanding commercial lending portfolio. This is a high-impact role offering strong compensation and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the bank’s success.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements and other documents to assess credit risk for commercial loan applicants
• Prepare well-structured credit memos with recommendations for approval or decline
• Collaborate with relationship managers to gather information and structure loan terms
• Monitor the performance of existing commercial loans and flag emerging risks

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in banking
• Proven experience in SBA, C&I, and CRE lending (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
