As part of a dynamic customer focused team, The Sales Support Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing and developing a multidisciplinary team consisting of Project Engineers and Application Engineers. Working across the complete organization, this role ensures the seamless execution of technically complex projects and the delivery of tailored solutions to customers in the injection molding industry.
This is an end-to-end role that requires agility and influence across the complete organization. It acts as a critical link between the sales organization and other business functions, requiring strong technical acumen, strategic project management capabilities, and the ability to influence without authority across the organization. The role regularly engages with high‑level internal stakeholders and C‑suite customers, contributing directly to business growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
This role will manage the complete Americas business, with the two PE team leaders as direct reports, and the complete Application Engineering team (SMEs) as direct reports.
Salary Range: 146k-160k
Responsibilities- Lead, coach and develop the HRC Sales Support Team for Americas, including people and processes development;
- Allocate resources effectively across projects and applications, ensuring optimal team utilization.
- Promote collaborative work with the Sales, Production Engineering, Product Development, Operations, Quality and Service Teams;
- Nourish a true customer centric culture and passion for excellence;
- Align processes globally supporting the local needs;
- Establishes goals, objectives, and target deadlines for team that align with Husky's strategy;
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and technical proposals.
- Support development of workforce planning and identify capacity or capability gaps. Define strategies to overcome those gaps.
- Provide deep technical guidance to the Application Engineering team so that they can develop optimal customer-specific solutions.
- Support Sales in complex opportunities in order to develop and value sell Husky solutions.
- Risk mitigation on projects with high exposure, reducing the Husky warranty exposure.
- Technical degree and several years of relevant experience
- Understanding of plastic injection molding technology including design and manufacturing
- Related experience in function that required customer interaction
- Demonstrated people development and process improvement abilities
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge on MS office applications
