Delivery Driver Box Truck

DELIVERY DRIVER BOX TRUCK

LEESBURG , GA 31763 US

This position is for a box truck driver. As a box truck driver you must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, an up to date DOT card, and experience driving a box truck.

• Conduct pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Operate the vehicle safely and effectively.
• Follow all transportation rules and guidelines.
• Unloading items for delivery.
• Utilizing safe lifting practices and equipment properly.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and complete all required paperwork.
• Keeping the truck clean and reporting any maintenance needed.
• Ensure that loads are secured properly to mitigate damage to the items.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company policies pertaining to safety.
• Manage time wisely.
• Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and within the timeline provided.
• Report any issues, accidents or violations to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

• 1-3 years of previous, provable experience operating a box truck is required.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license, an up-to-date DOT health card and have a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs. Ability to squat, reach, twist, climb, rotate and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
