Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in Fort Benning, GA. This contract role commences ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, offering an opportunity to manage a diverse K-12 caseload. Candidates interested in either full-time or part-time schedules are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments across various grade levels, from Pre-School through High School.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique communication needs.
* Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
* Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Participate in team meetings and assist with developing school-wide communication strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
* Ability to manage caseloads spanning multiple grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school students.
* Strong understanding of speech-language development in children from Pre-School through 12th grade.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
