Job Description:

Primary Accountabilities
  • Electromechanical troubleshooting
  • Performing preventive maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments to machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system malfunctions using diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and schematics.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty components, dismantling machinery when necessary, and reassembling equipment to working order.
  • Installing new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and integration with existing systems.
  • Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, including logs, reports on equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts in the CMMS system.
  • Fabricating or modifying parts as needed using welding, cutting, or other fabrication skills.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
  • Assisting in training production personnel on proper operation and basic preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Source parts include OEM parts for equipment.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This includes cleaning ducts, checking for leaks, and refilling refrigerants.

  • Keepdetailedrecordsofmaintenanceandrepairworkperformed,includingcostsandtypesofservicesprovided.
Experience and Skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with industrial control systems and familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
  • Previous work experience in industrial maintenance or a related field; a technical degree or similar may be preferred.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC equipment are crucial.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician is essential, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
  • Class 1 HVAC license preferred
