The Maintenance Technician helps care for the lodge, cabins, and park facilities by performing a wide range of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, mechanical, and general repair work
. This role keeps the guest experience smooth and the property safe, functional, and welcoming. You’ll complete daily work orders, support preventive maintenance programs, and assist with special projects that improve the park’s operations.
Respond to maintenance requests from all departments and ensure issues are resolved quickly and safely.
- Electrical: replace switches, outlets, motors, ballasts, breakers, and troubleshoot using test equipment.
- Plumbing: clear drains, repair valves, replace seals and gaskets, and work with various pipe types.
- HVAC & Mechanical: change filters, belts, bearings, lubricate equipment, and monitor for unusual noise or vibration.
- General Maintenance: repair furniture, paint, caulk, replace locks, cut keys, and maintain guest rooms and public areas.
Support preventive maintenance for laundry, kitchen, and building systems, including weekly generator checks.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure tools and chemicals are used safely and properly.
Interact with guests professionally, helping resolve concerns and contributing to a positive lodge experience.
Assist other skilled trades.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work indoors and outdoors, and handle physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and carrying equipment.
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
- Basic math, reading, and reasoning skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic point-of-sale systems.
- A willingness to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
