Concrete Worker

Now seeking a Concrete Carpenter in the Lakemont, GA area!

Trillium is looking for Carpenter/Finisher that will be doing more demolition type work but could be asked to do some form/finishing work as well.

This is a 12 week job that could lead to longer term work with a reputable company that is doing a multiple year project at the Terrora Hydro-Electric Plant. This company will be replacing machinery and also replacing 14 of the spill gates at the plant. Candidates may be asked to do a variety of things including, installing anchors, structural demo, mechanical demo, steel erection, alignment of new equipment, installation of new equipment & support.

Will be removing old equipment and putting in some new structural steel components. Will be assembling concrete forms according to blueprints, erecting, and installing framework for pouring of epoxy grout and vertical application grout. Majority of the work will be chipping/removing old concrete structures. Pay is negotiable around $26-30/hour DOE and certifications. Per diem is $80/day all 7 days to those that qualify.

Work is usually Mon-Sat working 10 hour days and then working 8 hours on Saturday.

- Must have basic hand tools
- Epoxy grout and finishing exp is plus
- Industrial exp. required
- Should have some demolition exp with concrete forms, etc.
- Use of jackhammer is huge plus.
