Experienced Crane Operator

Job Description
Our client is growing and looking for a Crane Operator to support heavy civil and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for a safety-focused operator with experience running hydraulic, lattice boom, RT, or crawler cranes in active jobsite environments.


Responsibilities

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow lift plans, load charts, and direction from riggers and signal personnel
• Perform daily inspections and document equipment condition
• Communicate with site supervisors and crews to ensure safe operations
• Assist with basic adjustments, maintenance checks, and setup/teardown
• Comply with OSHA, NCCCO, and company safety standards

Required Experience & Qualifications

• NCCCO or equivalent crane certification required
• Experience operating RT, crawler, or truck-mounted cranes
• Working knowledge of rigging, signaling, and lift safety procedures
• Ability to interpret load charts and follow lift directives
• Strong communication and situational awareness on active sites
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not always required
