Access Control Technician
Reports To:
Office Manager or Franchise Owner
The Access Control Technician is a technical role vital to the company's growth. This hands-on position involves working in the field with clients, primarily servicing mechanical locks, doors, and electronic security systems. Candidates should have experience with commercial access controls, wiring, surveillance cameras, and software, demonstrating problem-solving skills in the security industry. The role includes traveling to various commercial clients such as schools, manufacturing facilities, and churches to install, inspect, and service electronic access systems.
Requirements/Responsibilities:While specific brands are not required, experience with access controls, surveillance, wiring, and related hardware is essential. Familiarity with brands such as CDVI, PDK, Avigilon, Brivo, Open Path, HID, Dahua, Hanwha, Axis, and others is beneficial.
Physical Requirements:- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to lift and carry 50-100 lbs
- Capable of kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing ladders, and working in outdoor weather conditions
