Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
The Electrical Technician performs skilled electrical and mechanical work as well as troubleshooting abilities in the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, equipment and fixtures in a Land Application System and related facilities.
Essential Functions

- Builds and assembles machines and mechanical components according to requirements.
- Installs electrical wiring, conduits to house electrical wires and cables to code.
- Performs routine maintenance onmachinesto ensure they operate properly.
- Runsdiagnostic testingtodiscover functionality issues.
- Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existingelectricalsystems.
- Installs replacement parts on existingelectrical/mechanical units.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of replacement parts and ordering replacements.
- Assists in the troubleshooting and repairs of pumps, motors, valves, aerators, and other devices and components.
- Perform other general maintenance and housekeeping duties as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility
This positionhas no direct supervisory responsibilities.
This job operates in amanufacturingenvironment and routinely uses highly specialized equipment.
Theemployeeis frequently exposed to noise, dust, and electrical current. The employee is subject to hazards which include a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, working on scaffolds and high places,requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection and non-skid shoes.
The employee is subject to outside environmental conditions with extreme cold or heat, depending on the time of year.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and listen.
Thisemployeemay be required to reach with hands and arms,climb or balance,and stoop, kneel,crouch,andfrequentlylift upto 50 Ibs.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.Rotating weekend coverage and occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- Prior Industrial Mechanic and Electrical experience preferred
- Must have at least 5 years of Industrial Electrician experience
- Must have prior experience with Drives, and motor controls
- Prior PLC experience preferred
- Familiarity with pumps and motors including control and monitoring systems.
