Job Description:

Colonial Security Services is seeking a vigilant and experienced Logistics Gate Security Officer to join our team. The Logistics Gate Security Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining security protocols and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics gate.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic at the logistics gate.
• Verify the identity of drivers and visitors entering the premises.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, cargoes, and personnel as necessary.
• Enforce company security policies and procedures.
• Report any security breaches, suspicious activities, or safety hazards to appropriate authorities.
• Collaborate with other security personnel and departments to maintain a secure environment.
• Operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras, metal detectors, and X-ray machines.
• Provide excellent customer service to drivers and visitors while upholding security standards.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and crisis management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent observational and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Familiarity with security equipment and procedures.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
