Store Manager – Brunswick, Georgia

Brunswick, Georgia. The Parker's Company is a fast‑paced, community‑engaged, customer‑centric convenience store company with 11 stores in southeast Georgia. We are seeking our next great store manager, someone who runs operations smoothly, leads with high energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to grow employees to reach their potential.

Off Days: Sunday & Wednesday
Work Hours: 50 hours per week
Time of work: 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Reports to: District Manager

Responsibilities
  • Financial performance of the store.
  • Shift management.
  • Employee management.
  • Compliance management.

Financial Performance:
Manage costs, operating profit & food safety; control supplies, inventories, & expenses; enforce inventory, alcohol & tobacco sales, shrink prevention.

Shift Management:
Ensure customer service, security, and merchandising meet standards; assist customer service reps; maintain store cleanliness; keep supplies stocked; complete daily work tasks and checklists.

Employee Management:
Assign shifts, duties, and checklists; ensure team members perform to company standards; maintain a friendly atmosphere; enforce procedures and legal compliance; resolve disputes; train staff; model excellence; communicate effectively; promote fair application of company policies.

Compliance Management:
Know company policies; enforce accurate clock‑in/out; oversee new hire documentation; enforce dress code & hygiene; maintain confidentiality.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Basic math calculations.
  • Reading, writing, and following instructions.
  • Verbal and written communication.
  • Multitasking.
  • Problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Education & Qualifications
  • Prior management experience desired.
  • Current and valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma.
  • Legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco.
