The VPC Inspector will be responsible for the daily inspection and/or processing functions within the VPC Department in order to insure a quality vehicle is being shipped to the end customer on behalf of Glovis.

• Inspect new vehicle exterior features for defects and/or damages (using IQS tablet, input defects found on vehicles, inspect for details, communicate findings)
• Inspect vehicles according to company guidelines and procedures (according to the SWIS and Inspection Audit Form)
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and peers (communicate found defects to online repair or out scan team member for entry into IQIS system)
• Perform other tasks as instructed by leadership (driving, battery testing, tire pressure, throw-in such as floor mats, cargo nets, cargo trays, owner's manual, maintain housekeeping, may work in other departments to help maintain daily production goals)

• Effective verbal and written communication skills (Required)
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions (Required)
• Ability to use/operate a two-way radio (Required)
• Ability to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length (VIN) (Required)
• Ability to drive both automatic and standard shift vehicles (Required)

• Must have Valid Driver's License (Required)
• 1 year of Quality/Inspection experience (Preferred)
