Quality Control Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our chemical manufacturing team. The QC Technician will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine laboratory analyses to ensure raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet established quality standards. This role requires proficiency in wet chemistry techniques, instrumental analysis, and a strong understanding of laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct chemical and physical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and final products.
- Perform pH measurements, titrations (acid‑base, redox, complexometric), and gravimetric and volumetric analyses.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, burettes, analytical balances, spectrophotometers (UV‑Vis), conductivity meters, refractometers, Karl Fischer titrators.
- Document all test results accurately in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Calibrate and verify lab equipment regularly to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in method development, validation, and troubleshooting of analytical procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and chemical hygiene.
- Ability to interpret technical data and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
- Associate’s or certification in Chemistry, Biology, Laboratory Equipment or similar.
- Experience with ISO, GMP, or other regulated environments.
- Knowledge of statistical quality control and root‑cause analysis tools.
- Certification in chemical handling or laboratory safety (e.g., OSHA, HAZWOPER) is advantageous.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Adairsville, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 – $26.00/hr.
