The Quality Control Supervisor oversees site-level quality operations to ensure products meet internal, customer, and OEM standards. This managerial role leads quality personnel, manages quality systems across production stages, and supports the Site/OEM Quality Manager in driving compliance, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Quality Leadership & People Management- Lead and manage quality personnel, including staffing, training, performance reviews, timekeeping, feedback, and development.
- Guide leads and team members on recognition, corrective actions, and disciplinary processes when required.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
- Supervise quality control activities for injection molding and painting (initial, in-process, and final).
- Ensure adherence to quality management systems, OEM requirements, and internal procedures.
- Manage departmental KPIs, visual controls, and report performance to management.
- Oversee ISIR, mass production inspections, PLT sample evaluation, and paint quality metrics.
- Supervise torque checks, tool calibration, weld strength testing, Vision NG Masters, afet contamination prevention.
- Support testing lab setup and execution for U.S. subsidiary requirements.
- Monitor raw material properties (MI, moisture, lot control) and establish quality limits.
- Verify packaging specifications and manage incoming inspection processes.
- Lead corrective actions, root cause analysis, and emergency responses per OEM/customer policy (e.g., color 밝혀 variation issues).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with production, engineering, and supply chain teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of quality control experience in automotive manufacturing, including leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with ERP/SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Solid understanding of environmental, health, and safety standards in manufacturing.
