• Body quality control engineering position shall study and understand car body parts and process, to enhance body quality while meeting internal and external customer requirements
• Inspect incoming/raw materials and assemblies to make quality decision
• Investigate and analyze defective products and develop countermeasure
• Establish short-term/long-term measures to ensure smooth production
• Collaborate with HMC visitors for quality improvement during new project development stage
• Enhance suppliers’ quality level by conducting Supplier Process Audit (SPA) and reviewing their products, tools, and systems periodically
• Participate/lead BIW audit sharing inspection results with suppliers and HMGMA engineers to request and discuss improvement plan
• Manage assigned products to meet internal/external customer requirements
• Improve efficiency of quality control management system by learning and applying new technology, knowledge, and equipment
• Ensure the adequacy of relevant procedures and systems in accordance to specification and applicable legal requirements
• Meet all other requirements as assigned

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Valid driver’s license required

Preferred:

• Engineering major preferred; advanced degree in a related field preferred
• Domestic / International travel required.
