As an Infusion Nurse, you will be a licensed registered nurse providing compassionate and direct patient care in home or alternate infusion sites, ensuring safety and compliance according to physicians' care plans. This role requires close supervision but offers growth and learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement basic nursing plans of care while evaluating patient progress, administering treatments, medications, and educating patients and families.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs, monitoring changes in condition and revising treatment plans as necessary.
- Deliver patient-centered education, empowering patients and families to manage their care effectively.
- Communicate efficiently with the clinical team, medical providers, patients, and families to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Prepare accurate clinical documentation in real-time and submit it promptly for compliance and billing purposes.
- Assist in coordinating discharge plans and summaries for transitioning patient care securely.
- Comply with all relevant regulations, agency policies, and professional standards.
- Utilize technology and data effectively to aid in patient care documentation and workflow efficiency.
- Respond to patient requests promptly and initiate emergency procedures when required.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality, following HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in mandatory training and continuing education to maintain licensure and enhance your skills.
- Provide mentorship to new nurses and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities as needed and take on additional duties as assigned.
- Current, unrestricted RN license.
- 0-2 years of experience in infusion nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Experience in home health or acute care settings.
The salary range for this position is $38.84-$64.72, determined by education, experience, and other factors. Naven Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
