Position: Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR
Location: Atlanta

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring a GA or compact RN license and recent strong endovascular experience.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting,

• Cares for adult cardiac and vascular surgical cases including endovascular procedures,

• 12-hour night shifts,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Assignment is 13 weeks in length,

Job Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at the time of consideration,

• At least 18 months of full-time CVOR nursing experience within the last 3 years in a similar acuity setting,

• Demonstrated strong experience in cardiac, vascular, and endovascular procedures,

• Must have experience with all 3's and 4's for cardiac and vascular cases,

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates allowed,

Additional Information

• Perform duties related to cardiac and vascular OR procedures, including strong endovascular skills,

• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have a separation of 1 year (or 18 months if returning to the same facility) before returning,

• RTO is strict: maximum 5 days if not on or near a holiday, maximum 3 days if on or near a holiday, and only one holiday RTO request permitted,

• Several consecutive RTO days during the holidays will not be approved, and RTO must be spread apart,

• Candidates are only eligible for one position at a time within this system,
