RN​/LPN Nightshift

Position Summary

RN/LPN is responsible for providing care to clients, including administering medication, taking vitals, and assessing medical needs.

• Assisting with the taking and recording of daily client vital signs and assessments.
• Administering medications and treatments as per provider protocol.
• Assisting with client admissions and discharges.
• Recording client observations and reporting to the medical team as needed.
• Compassionately interacting with the client population to encourage engagement in treatment.
• Maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
• Attending staff trainings and meetings as required by the employer.
• Communicating with the pharmacy as needed.
• Completing client nursing admissions, including intake surveys, blood draws, TB testing, Gene Sight swabbing.
• Following all policies and procedures with regard to client information protection, including alcohol‑drug client confidentiality and HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current unrestricted licensure in GA as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Associate's degree in Registered Nursing.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies and directions, and present information effectively, both orally and written.
• Ability to work with both chemically dependent and individuals in psychiatric care in a non‑judgmental, compassionate fashion.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Experience working with people in recovery and/or mental health treatment a plus.
