Overview

Alamo First Baptist Church in Alamo, GA is prayerfully in search of a pastor for a full-time position as our church overseer here in Alamo, GA. We desire a leader who will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, have a passion to share the gospel with our diverse community, and has a genuine personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Full-time and bi-vocational resumes will be considered.

We are blessed to offer with this full-time position a fully furnished large pastorium next to the church campus.

• Be committed to teaching the Holy Bible and sound doctrine
• Have a clear testimony of personal salvation and faithful prayer life
• Demonstrate strong leadership and shepherding skills for all ages
• Lead worship services, preach nurturing messages and oversee pastoral duties and responsibilities with integrity
• Be gifted in building relationships within the church, community, and throughout the mission field
• Teach and oversee teaching of biblical truth while nurturing spiritual growth
• Value community outreach and missions with a vision for engaging and serving a broader population for Christ
• Have a servant’s heart, a humble spirit, and strong encouraging communication skills

Preferred qualifications include having attended seminary, alignment with Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and 1-5 years of experience as pastor or similar church staff.
