Butler Sand, reporting directly to the Plant Manager, is seeking a Night Shift Plant Operator/Hole. The role requires an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence and flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required.

Full‑Time – Night Shift
Pay:
Starting at $25.00 per hour + $3.00 night shift differential.

• Operate and perform hole and pit responsibilities.
• Assist in sand mining process.
• Operate barge/water cannon.
• Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery.
• Inspect and maintain conveyors, screens, and other equipment.
• Perform daily pre‑ and post‑inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Serve and maintain equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Follow all company policies, MSHA, and environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and environmental regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Dedication to safe work practices at all times.
• At least one year of sand mining experience.
• Experience welding and metal fabrication is a plus.
• Ability to perform safety and maintenance inspections.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Team player attitude.
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screening.
