Reporting to Buying Point/ Plant Manager, the DOT and NON-DOT Truck Driver will be responsible completing all daily tasks as assigned in a safe and timely manner.

Both DOT and NON-DOT

• Perform daily check of truck, ensure proper functionality
• Follow all safety policies and guidelines
• Follow instructions of the Traffic Controller to ensure the safety of employees around you
• Check all paperwork for accuracy
• Transfer peanuts from the scale house to the warehouses
• Staging trailers for customer shipments
• Understand Peanut Shelling safety policies, work safely and report any safety hazards or unsafe conditions to the Plant Manager or Safety Coordinator.
• Follow Peanut Shelling Company Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Follow all of Peanut Shelling Company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Preventive Control Rules, and Occupational Safety Rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Transfer peanuts from the sheller to the cold storage
• Transfer peanuts from cold storage to the sheller
• Adhere to all DOT regulations

• Transfer Oil Stock – ensure proper tracking of lot and paperwork
• Work Hull Line, ensure the proper and safe tracking of each load that is delivered to the sheller
• Must NOT leave company property on company truck

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• CDL and Medical clearance required for DOT
• 1-2 years' experience required for DOT
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to have a flexible schedule
• Good communication skills.
• Great work ethic and attitude
