Overview
The Loom Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overall upkeep of an assigned loom layout within the weaving department. This role ensures equipment reliability, supports production needs, and maintains operational safety and housekeeping standards.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance according to the established PM program.
Respond to major breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Assist other technicians as necessary to support production.
Repair fixer flags within the assigned loom layout promptly.
Record and track all parts used during maintenance tasks.
Perform pattern changes as required by production.
Follow all company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
High School Diploma or GED required (preferred).
Minimum of three years of weaving experience.
Ability to work in a plant floor environment and lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
Preventive maintenance procedures.
Understanding of loom mechanics and weaving processes.
Ability to perform pattern changes and equipment adjustments.
Adherence to safety standards and housekeeping practices.
Accurate documentation of parts and repairs.
Strong problem‑solving abilities.
Time management and prioritization.
Clear communication with supervisors and team members.
